I think I’ve finally gotten to the point where I don’t even want to try and date anymore. I thought things were going pretty good with Aimee but then she hits me with the, “after praying, I don’t think it’s going to work.”
I actually see that as God protecting ME and my sanity more than her.
But I’m tired of being the only one trying to put in any effort. I’m tired of spending so much money just to spend time with someone. I value my me-time probably more than anyone else in the world. I hated giving up my breaks to talk to her. I hated giving the couple of hours I had to relax and wind down but rather used it to talk to her.
So, I’m going to enjoy my freedom for awhile. Work on the sites, work on the house, save money and most importantly, save my sanity.
I’ve even went ahead and scheduled FB for deletion since the only reason I got back on there was to use the dating app.
Now, I’m not saying I’ll never date again. But it will take a good woman.
